Welcome aboard the USS Tokyo!
"Sometimes you have to fight for the things that are worth fighting for." - Arrietty.
The year is 2396.
With the recent escalations of violence and unrest within the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, Starfleet recognised a need for a fast ship that can be deployed as a rapid response vessel. After six years of development Starfleet Corps of Engineers started to lay down the spaceframe for four new carrier type vessels, the USS Armitage, USS Tokyo, USS Oceania and the USS Broadsword.
The Armitage Class vessels are an upgraded version of the highly successful Akira class starships. They are designed as rapid response attack carriers, capable of high speed deployment of fighters and auxiliary craft as well as specialist operations in deep space. These first two vessels of the class, USS Armitage and USS Tokyo were launched in 2390 and have been in service since.
The USS Tokyo is the second vessel of the class and is currently commanded by Captain Taiga Aisaka. The Tokyo's main mission is to patrol the Federation's Neutral Zones, shipping lanes and eliminate any threats to protect the security of the Federation. From managing civilian traffic to engaging potential invasion forces the Armitage classes are built to defend the security of the Federation and this is the Tokyo's main mission.

10 Years!
Yes, you read that correctly!
Today marks the founding of the USS Tokyo, which was Ten Years ago today! In all honesty, I never thought that this ship would last ten years. It is a milestone that few Star Trek Sims/RPG's ever hit. The average life of a Star Trek sim is 4-5 years, so hitting 10 is remarkable.
Hitting this milestone is not just a testiment to the ship, but also to its crew and every single one of you. I often describe this ship as a home, and a family and we have now some of…

Merry Christmas!
On behalf of the command staff of the USS Tokyo, I would like to take a moment to wish every single one of you a Merry Christmas for 2024! We've had an absolutely fantastic year! I am so proud of every single member of this crew. It's not often that a group of writers gel so well together and pull it off not only fantastically, but in their own style!
This year we had one of our longest running missions in the entire history of the Tokyo and you guys were throwing ideas, subplots and everything into it!…

To all crew!
First of all I want to thank you all for another fantastic year aboard the Tokyo! Whether you've only been here a month, or numerous years, you have all been a wonderful crew and group of people to write with! The Tokyo has become more than just a Star Trek RPG on the internet. We have become a close knit group of friends, and family! I can't thank you enough for all of your efforts and support throughout this last year!
With that aside, I want to take a few moments to talk about this time of…

Mission: Andromeda

Puffs of black smoke disippated as the Iconians all began to appear one by one in the large circular council chamber. In the middle of them floated M'Tara. Then in the center of the room T'Ket 'poofed' in.
"T'Ket. I told you to only infiltrate the Human Vessel. Not to start clensing it." M'Tara said simply. "Explain your actions sister."
T'ket remained floating in the center of the room. "They were a threat to us. Just like before. These 'Humans' and their 'Federation' have established large scale alliances in order to destroy their enemies." T'Ket explained simply. "I do not…

[Bridge]
Mikko emerged from behind the helm console where she had been sheltering, her hands were sweaty from the grip on her phaser. She looked around the bridge, the strange Construct aliens had disappeared. She moved to the helm and tapped on it. "We're still at all stop." she reported.
She turned around on her feet to face Talia. "Counsellor. I do believe that you're the current ranking officer. As the last senior officer on board, what are your orders?"
Talia stood eyes wide at the fact that she was suddenly in charge. She took a moment to gather her…

The huge 'landing bay' was bigger than the away team had thought. Their shuttle was miniscule compared to the bay. The Tokyo itself could easily fit inside the bay. The curved roof spanned upwards and large circular doors led to circular snaking corridors beyond. Each door was easily six to seven meters in diameter and opened when the team approached, slotting into the wall like slices of pizza. One of them even seemed to be jammed open, most likely broken eons ago.
"Well, it sure was nice of them to leave the front door open for us," Chisato quipped as…

Previously on Star Trek Tokyo:
"Our intentions?!" Taiga snapped as her courage flowed back through her veins. "Our intentions are to get the hell home! Get out of this place and never have to deal with you again!" She told the Iconian angrily. "I don't care what or who you are! Or even how powerful you are! We will resist! We are not your puppets! And we will not do what you want us to in order to fulfil your stupidly sized ego!"
M'Tara simply floated there. "You would say such things to a God? You insult us even though…

Amu Hinamori stirred from her deep sleep, slowly starting to wake from the anesthetic.
Sickbay had quieted down considerably since Amu was first admitted, now that the critical patients had been addressed and the doctors were now focused on attending to injuries of lessening concern.
From across the ward, one of the nurses happened to spot Amu as she began to stir.
"Ah, Doctor!" she called out, making her way over to Amu's bed. "How are you feeling? Did you manage to sleep alright?"
Amu opened her eyes slowly. Her hands instantly darted to her midsection. She let out a…

Air Boss' Personal Log,
With the unexpected arrival of Admiral Miyahara, my old CO, I find myself in an awkward position: The crew of the Tokyo are counting on me to do the right thing and help them fight this, but at the same time, I can't in good conscience disagree with the man who has become my mentor. To do so would alienate myself from not only him but the friends I still have aboard his ship.
I still consider the Myogi my home, and her crew my family, contrary to the Tokyo where everyone is quick to make…

Security Officer's Log,
I've spent only a short time back aboard the USS Tokyo, and already things are getting rough.
A few minutes ago, I kicked the Marine CO, and his XO out of my office.
They intimidated one of my officers, lied about why they were here, laughed when ordered to attention, and proceeded to insult me.
I can see things just haven't really changed here...

Air Boss' log;
Gosh, how weird it is to open like that, but since I lost the Second Officer's commission, I can no longer open these logs as normal. Perhaps I'm going to stop doing them...
Oh, boy, what a day it has been! It has been a week and a half today...
For starters, the briefing went horribly wrong: My plan for building trust and camaraderie with the pilots went south fast. Some pilot decided he didn't like what I was planning on doing, and called me many things in front of the CO, and I counted at least…

Captains Log
Its been a hard day on the Tokyo, especially for me. Our orders were simple, report to the outpost to pick up some classified information. I was not expecting my old first officer waiting for me there. At first I believed she was stationed on the outpost, but when she told me that she was my replacement Chief of Security I could have freaked out. Luckily I didn't.
I've still been having those awful nightmares about her ever since we encountered that virus made by the Cardassians. That was all quickly swept under the rug wasn't it. No…

Second officer's log:
Since my last entry, we have successfully managed to get the Tokyo back up and running and pointed back in the direction of Federation space.
Since there's nothing better to do now that we're back underway, I have had the privilege to meet some of the folks I didn't have a chance to now that the atmosphere on board is much calmer.
Even before we had the ship fully operational, I met this woman around my age who called herself 'Bobcat'. After reviewing her personnel file, I can deduce that she is in fact Bobbie Sue Hunter,…
