Welcome aboard the USS Tokyo!
"Sometimes you have to fight for the things that are worth fighting for." - Arrietty.
The year is 2396.
With the recent escalations of violence and unrest within the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, Starfleet recognised a need for a fast ship that can be deployed as a rapid response vessel. After six years of development Starfleet Corps of Engineers started to lay down the spaceframe for four new carrier type vessels, the USS Armitage, USS Tokyo, USS Oceania and the USS Broadsword.
The Armitage Class vessels are an upgraded version of the highly successful Akira class starships. They are designed as rapid response attack carriers, capable of high speed deployment of fighters and auxiliary craft as well as specialist operations in deep space. These first two vessels of the class, USS Armitage and USS Tokyo were launched in 2390 and have been in service since.
The USS Tokyo is the second vessel of the class and is currently commanded by Captain Taiga Aisaka. The Tokyo's main mission is to patrol the Federation's Neutral Zones, shipping lanes and eliminate any threats to protect the security of the Federation. From managing civilian traffic to engaging potential invasion forces the Armitage classes are built to defend the security of the Federation and this is the Tokyo's main mission.

10 Years!
Yes, you read that correctly!
Today marks the founding of the USS Tokyo, which was Ten Years ago today! In all honesty, I never thought that this ship would last ten years. It is a milestone that few Star Trek Sims/RPG's ever hit. The average life of a Star Trek sim is 4-5 years, so hitting 10 is remarkable.
Hitting this milestone is not just a testiment to the ship, but also to its crew and every single one of you. I often describe this ship as a home, and a family and we have now some of…

Merry Christmas!
On behalf of the command staff of the USS Tokyo, I would like to take a moment to wish every single one of you a Merry Christmas for 2024! We've had an absolutely fantastic year! I am so proud of every single member of this crew. It's not often that a group of writers gel so well together and pull it off not only fantastically, but in their own style!
This year we had one of our longest running missions in the entire history of the Tokyo and you guys were throwing ideas, subplots and everything into it!…

To all crew!
First of all I want to thank you all for another fantastic year aboard the Tokyo! Whether you've only been here a month, or numerous years, you have all been a wonderful crew and group of people to write with! The Tokyo has become more than just a Star Trek RPG on the internet. We have become a close knit group of friends, and family! I can't thank you enough for all of your efforts and support throughout this last year!
With that aside, I want to take a few moments to talk about this time of…

Mission: Andromeda
Posted on Sat Apr 19th, 2025 @ 3:46pm by Captain Taiga Aisaka & Ensign Mikko Ishigami & Lieutenant Talia Johnson & Lieutenant Takina Inoue & Captain Elizabeth F. "Liz" Beurling & Lieutenant JG Dana Monroe & Lieutenant JG Connor Carey
Now that the Away Team were well on their way, the Tokyo banked away from surface of the Dyson Sphere and headed slowly towards the star in the center. The sun did look strange, it was mainly black with only small spots of light randomly shining through, looked almost as if it was covered by something.
"Keep us at a slow speed. I want to be careful," Taiga ordered towards the helm.
Ensign Miko Ishigami looked back and nodded. "Aye Captain, keeping her nice and slow."
"Are we close enough to get a detailed scan of the star?" Taiga asked.…

Mission: Andromeda
Posted on Sat Apr 19th, 2025 @ 1:13pm by Captain Taiga Aisaka & Lieutenant JG Dana Monroe
With recent events Dana had been one of few onboard the Tokyo who’d understood the significance of the symbol that had appeared on the ship’s workstations and monitors. The Omega particle, although the Borg had called it particle 010. Something that all Borg regarded with near-reverence, as being ‘perfection’ and to assimilate it at all costs.
Arriving outside Taiga’s Ready Room door she pressed the chime waiting until she heard the call for admittance before walking inside.
The doors opened immediately. Taiga had forgotten that Dana would also know about the Omega Particle from her time in the Borg Collective.…

Thomas walked around what seemed to be hours, to, god knows where, everything was the same all around him. He knew he was moving he kept thinking about what he could do to have some fun with Jeff. However he stopped. Perhaps thats the whole issue. Perhaps its time to put his childish behavior and start acting like a starfleet officer. This could be a time where it really mattered. After all, by the sounds of it. Jeff had indicated that the federation was at risk.
"Jeff, I'm done with the walk there is something that I do want to…

Mission: Andromeda
Posted on Thu Apr 10th, 2025 @ 1:01am by Lieutenant JG Nezuko & Lieutenant Talia Johnson
It was late on the first night things were calm after their unintended journey. The first opportunity for Nezuko to check in on her friend.
Thomas was gone. Where he was, whether he was safe or even alive, no one knew. Nezuko’s friend was missing, but it was Talia’s husband. The father of her unborn child.
Despite the hour, Talia was still in her office. It made sense. Her own room, alone, would be hard. So she chimed the door and waited.
Talia had sensed Nezuko’s approach, calling for Nezuko to enter she offered the best smile she could muster…

Mission: Andromeda
Posted on Wed Apr 9th, 2025 @ 7:26pm by Captain Taiga Aisaka & Lieutenant Talia Johnson
It was well known that every Starship Captain had several duties they had to perform and complete. It came with the uniform, with the rank and with the job. That included the worst duty of them all, the one which every starship captain hated and dreaded. The duty of speaking or writing to the loved ones of someone lost under their command.
Taiga had been avoiding it since the Tokyo had been pulled into the Dyson Sphere in the Andromeda Galaxy. However now that she had ordered the senior crew to rest, now was the right time to get such…

Air Boss' Personal Log,
With the unexpected arrival of Admiral Miyahara, my old CO, I find myself in an awkward position: The crew of the Tokyo are counting on me to do the right thing and help them fight this, but at the same time, I can't in good conscience disagree with the man who has become my mentor. To do so would alienate myself from not only him but the friends I still have aboard his ship.
I still consider the Myogi my home, and her crew my family, contrary to the Tokyo where everyone is quick to make…

Security Officer's Log,
I've spent only a short time back aboard the USS Tokyo, and already things are getting rough.
A few minutes ago, I kicked the Marine CO, and his XO out of my office.
They intimidated one of my officers, lied about why they were here, laughed when ordered to attention, and proceeded to insult me.
I can see things just haven't really changed here...

Air Boss' log;
Gosh, how weird it is to open like that, but since I lost the Second Officer's commission, I can no longer open these logs as normal. Perhaps I'm going to stop doing them...
Oh, boy, what a day it has been! It has been a week and a half today...
For starters, the briefing went horribly wrong: My plan for building trust and camaraderie with the pilots went south fast. Some pilot decided he didn't like what I was planning on doing, and called me many things in front of the CO, and I counted at least…

Captains Log
Its been a hard day on the Tokyo, especially for me. Our orders were simple, report to the outpost to pick up some classified information. I was not expecting my old first officer waiting for me there. At first I believed she was stationed on the outpost, but when she told me that she was my replacement Chief of Security I could have freaked out. Luckily I didn't.
I've still been having those awful nightmares about her ever since we encountered that virus made by the Cardassians. That was all quickly swept under the rug wasn't it. No…

Second officer's log:
Since my last entry, we have successfully managed to get the Tokyo back up and running and pointed back in the direction of Federation space.
Since there's nothing better to do now that we're back underway, I have had the privilege to meet some of the folks I didn't have a chance to now that the atmosphere on board is much calmer.
Even before we had the ship fully operational, I met this woman around my age who called herself 'Bobcat'. After reviewing her personnel file, I can deduce that she is in fact Bobbie Sue Hunter,…
