| General Overview | A Human-raised Vulcan, Jennifer learned just enough of her Vulcan heritage to keep her emotions in check. She is generally the strong, quiet type, but direct with her orders. Because of her shady career in the Intelligence department, and the things she has experienced, she has a quiet, but sharp temper that generally only comes out when the right buttons are pushed. Jennifer does not keep many friends. She generally prefers the company of one or two close friends over a room full of people she barely knows. Her lack of close friends leaves her lonely at times. When it comes to her job, Miss Daxer is dead serious. She will follow any obscure lead she finds, and is prone to digging up information on everyone she encounters. When the need arises, this sneaky officer will not hesitate to pull a weapon to defend herself, or eliminate her target, and will go to extreme lengths to find the truth in any situation. | Hobbies & Interests | The only real hobby Jennifer has is collecting, and learning to use early 21st century firearms, and other ancient projectile weapons. Most of her other interests lie in the Intelligence field, or combat training, with the exception of drawing. |
| Personal History | Jennifer's early existence is a bit of a mystery. She was found during an Intelligence mission which took place in uncharted territory past the opposite side of the Romulan Empire, hiding in an airduct. Battered, and bruised, it was believed that the young child had been sold, or captured into slavery. Though unable to speak because of her severe injuries, she was able to use her hands to show her age. Jennifer was only 3 when she was found. For Intelligence reasons, the identity of the officer who found her cannot be revealed. Once the mission was over, she was sent back to Earth and placed in the care of Joseph, and Marie Daxer in LA who had been unable to have children of their own. Skittish, and afraid, it took quite some time for Jennifer to come around and accept the love and affection she received on a consistent basis from her new parents. Due to the trauma of her life before coming to Earth, she was unable to speak at all until age 7. Her first word was "pain". Growing up, Jennifer kept mostly to herself and preferred the company of her pencils over that of other people. Her drawings ranged from serene meadows to horrible depictions of violence, which was believed to be due to her early trauma. As an early teen, Jennifer's temper was out of control. She would constantly get into fights with other kids in school. After learning of Jennifer's heritage, and her earlier trauma, the Vulcan principal of her school took the time to show her some techniques which would help her maintain more prominent control over her emotional state, and teach her discipline and self defense. The bond of friendship that spawned as a result has never been broken. At the age of 16 during her walk home from school, Jennifer was approached by a woman dressed in all black who claimed to know her. She was offered the chance to work for Starfleet Intelligence, and when she accepted, she was granted immediate entrance into Starfleet Academy. For Intelligence reasons, this individual cannot be identified. The very next day Jennifer Daxer said goodbye to her parents and left for Starfleet Academy. Jennifer excelled in security and combat and graduated in the top 100 of her class. Her hot temper had given her some black marks during her four years in the Academy, but her performance and effectiveness were enough for the Intel department to pull strings. After the Academy, Jennifer eagerly spent four more years undergoing rigorous training in combat, Infiltration, various languages, and covert operations for the purpose of making her the best at her job. During her combat training, she was specially trained in the use of projectile weapons, and prefers them over energy weapons. She commonly carries two concealed guns. One with traqualizer rounds, and another with live rounds just in case the need should arise to defend herself. Once her training was complete, Jennifer was stationed on Earth where she infiltrated and helped shut down several drug rings in the course of 10 years before she got bored of dealing with dope addicts. She requested a transfer and got one that took her to Starbase 718. It was here that she spent the next 37 years of her life working undercover as a mercenary for hire and performing countless covert infiltrations while working her way up through the Starfleet ranks. A few weeks after her 71st birthday, Jennifer was transferred back to Earth and presented with the task of learning everything she could about the Borg, and the Delta Quadrant. Eventually, she came to a point of hitting constant dead ends with the information she was getting, until she found the data from the USS Voyager. Her intuitiveness, and eagerness to learn more got her a final promotion to Lieutenant, and orders to report to the a secure location in the Alpha Quadrant with the intentions of establishing a needed Intel presence. Jennifer ended up on Station 596, and when they saw her potential for undercover work, they immediately decided to give her a year of crash course studies in any field of her choosing. Her affinity for technology, and weapons made her choose the Security, and Tactical department, and so she underwent 1 year of crash course training in the Security, and Tactical fields, as well as some rudimentary Command training. One year later, she was told to report to the USS Tokyo, and given orders to go undercover posing as her Executive Officer, and Chief Security/Tactical Officer while she conducted an undercover investigation, and survailence of it's Commanding Officer. She was to report back using non-standard methods of communication in order to observe, and report her activities, and methods back to Starfleet Intelligence. During her tour aboard the Tokyo, Jennifer was assimilated by the Borg, and led an attempted assimilation of the ship. During the encounter, the crew stopped the Borg, and Taiga liberated Jennifer. It was later revealed that the Admiral who sent Daxer to investigate Taiga had set up the Tokyo crew to get assimilated, or killed. As an overall result, Daxer has come to see that Taiga is not the bad guy. After extensive therapy from her assimilation, Jennifer was informed that SFI still wanted to keep tabs on Taiga. Wanting to keep the investigation under control, she quickly volunteered to go back undercover to investigate Taiga herself, posing as Tokyo's Chief Sec/Tac officer once again. Jennifer's true history is unknown to anyone on the USS Tokyo, including her Commanding Officer, and is something she will go the distance to keep hidden. |

Age 79: Returned to duty, voluntarily resuming her previous investigation, posing as Tokyo's Chief Security, and Tactical Officer.
