Welcome aboard the USS Tokyo!
"Sometimes you have to fight for the things that are worth fighting for." - Arrietty.
The year is 2397.
With the recent escalations of violence and unrest within the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, Starfleet recognised a need for a fast ship that can be deployed as a rapid response vessel. After six years of development Starfleet Corps of Engineers started to lay down the spaceframe for four new carrier type vessels, the USS Armitage, USS Tokyo, USS Oceania and the USS Broadsword.
The Armitage Class vessels are an upgraded version of the highly successful Akira class starships. They are designed as rapid response attack carriers, capable of high speed deployment of fighters and auxiliary craft as well as specialist operations in deep space. These first two vessels of the class, USS Armitage and USS Tokyo were launched in 2390 and have been in service since.
The USS Tokyo is the second vessel of the class and is currently commanded by Captain Taiga Aisaka. The Tokyo's main mission is to patrol the Federation's Neutral Zones, shipping lanes and eliminate any threats to protect the security of the Federation. From managing civilian traffic to engaging potential invasion forces the Armitage classes are built to defend the security of the Federation and this is the Tokyo's main mission.

10 Years!
Yes, you read that correctly!
Today marks the founding of the USS Tokyo, which was Ten Years ago today! In all honesty, I never thought that this ship would last ten years. It is a milestone that few Star Trek Sims/RPG's ever hit. The average life of a Star Trek sim is 4-5 years, so hitting 10 is remarkable.
Hitting this milestone is not just a testiment to the ship, but also to its crew and every single one of you. I often describe this ship as a home, and a family and we have now some of…

Merry Christmas!
On behalf of the command staff of the USS Tokyo, I would like to take a moment to wish every single one of you a Merry Christmas for 2024! We've had an absolutely fantastic year! I am so proud of every single member of this crew. It's not often that a group of writers gel so well together and pull it off not only fantastically, but in their own style!
This year we had one of our longest running missions in the entire history of the Tokyo and you guys were throwing ideas, subplots and everything into it!…

To all crew!
First of all I want to thank you all for another fantastic year aboard the Tokyo! Whether you've only been here a month, or numerous years, you have all been a wonderful crew and group of people to write with! The Tokyo has become more than just a Star Trek RPG on the internet. We have become a close knit group of friends, and family! I can't thank you enough for all of your efforts and support throughout this last year!
With that aside, I want to take a few moments to talk about this time of…

Mission: Preserving The Past
Posted on Sun Aug 31st, 2025 @ 2:51pm by Captain Taiga Aisaka & Petty Officer 1st Class Yoshika Miyafuji & Commander Thomas Johnson & Lieutenant Ralen Trellis & Lieutenant Takina Inoue & Lieutenant JG Connor Carey
Last time on Star Trek Tokyo:
Thomas's comm badge was still vibrating in his top pocket, not enough to be noticed from the outside, but enough to be of annoyance to him by now. It was still vibrating to indicate that he should contact the Tokyo when he had the chance to do so.
"If you will excuse me Elder, I do have something I have left in the woods as a precaution. We did not know if we would be greeted as friends or foe." He turned to his tribesmen. "I am sure my people would love a long…

Previously on Star Trek Tokyo:
"She's still alive." Jen said somewhat absently, as she continued her scan. "She's in really bad shape though."
Shauna panted as she came to a stop at the top of the bank. Her eyes opened wide upon seeing the young girl now being scanned by Daxer. "Ah... crap..." she said as she made her way down the bank. "This isn't looking good..."
"I hate to be 'that person', but the Prime Directive..." Shauna began to say.
"To hell with the prime directive." Jen said, looking up to see who else had arrived behind her. Without…

Mission: Preserving The Past
Posted on Thu Aug 21st, 2025 @ 2:24am by Lieutenant Ralen Trellis & Lieutenant Commander Talia Johnson
The Chief Counselor's office aboard the starship was arranged with the typical warmth of a therapeutic space—soft lighting, comfortable seating, and carefully chosen artwork meant to put visitors at ease. Lieutenant Ralen Trellis stood just outside the door, his jaw set in a line that betrayed none of the internal conflict churning within him. The Trellis symbiont carried memories of countless briefings, debriefings, and military formalities, but this particular meeting felt different. More complicated.
He pressed the door chime and waited.
Inside her office Talia was sitting in her favourite chair, feet up with a small pile of personnel files…

"Well, Doc, looks as if everything checks out," the nurse reported as she wheeled Amu out into the main lobby. "We've seen no drastic changes in your son's vital signs, and all of our scans indicate that he's been hitting all his major milestones: hair growth at 30 weeks; first weight gain at 31 weeks; lanugo starting to fall off at 32 weeks; first signs of light sensitivity at 33 weeks; and fingernail growth at 34 weeks. By our calculations, he looks to be on track for an early March delivery."

"Each of you look over the flight plans and assignments, then report to the flight deck upon arrival at Amerind. Once Tokyo is in position and Captain Aisaka gives us the order, we're to launch and start patrols. So, go get some rest in. Company Dismissed!".
The pilots started gathering whatever they had brought with them into the briefing room and began filing out.
Most of them, anyway.
Vyse Ingelbard stood with the rest, but made no move to his PADD or coffee cup. He simply waited. Waited for the crowd to thin. Waited for the room to empty.

My Dearest Joran,
I’m writing to you from the small confines of my new quarters aboard the USS Tokyo. I’ve just finished unpacking some of my boxes (including that little holo-frame you gave me on Trill) and I thought of you halfway through stowing away my tool kit. The Tokyo’s corridors are a little narrower than I remember the Republic’s, but the hum of the engines is every bit as reassuring. I’ve already found my favorite view—on Deck…

Air Boss' Personal Log,
With the unexpected arrival of Admiral Miyahara, my old CO, I find myself in an awkward position: The crew of the Tokyo are counting on me to do the right thing and help them fight this, but at the same time, I can't in good conscience disagree with the man who has become my mentor. To do so would alienate myself from not only him but the friends I still have aboard his ship.
I still consider the Myogi my home, and her crew my family, contrary to the Tokyo where everyone is quick to make…

Security Officer's Log,
I've spent only a short time back aboard the USS Tokyo, and already things are getting rough.
A few minutes ago, I kicked the Marine CO, and his XO out of my office.
They intimidated one of my officers, lied about why they were here, laughed when ordered to attention, and proceeded to insult me.
I can see things just haven't really changed here...

Air Boss' log;
Gosh, how weird it is to open like that, but since I lost the Second Officer's commission, I can no longer open these logs as normal. Perhaps I'm going to stop doing them...
Oh, boy, what a day it has been! It has been a week and a half today...
For starters, the briefing went horribly wrong: My plan for building trust and camaraderie with the pilots went south fast. Some pilot decided he didn't like what I was planning on doing, and called me many things in front of the CO, and I counted at least…

Captains Log
Its been a hard day on the Tokyo, especially for me. Our orders were simple, report to the outpost to pick up some classified information. I was not expecting my old first officer waiting for me there. At first I believed she was stationed on the outpost, but when she told me that she was my replacement Chief of Security I could have freaked out. Luckily I didn't.
I've still been having those awful nightmares about her ever since we encountered that virus made by the Cardassians. That was all quickly swept under the rug wasn't it. No…
