Meeting new folks

Second officer's log:

Since my last entry, we have successfully managed to get the Tokyo back up and running and pointed back in the direction of Federation space.

Since there's nothing better to do now that we're back underway, I have had the privilege to meet some of the folks I didn't have a chance to now that the atmosphere on board is much calmer.

Even before we had the ship fully operational, I met this woman around my age who called herself 'Bobcat'. After reviewing her personnel file, I can deduce that she is in fact Bobbie Sue Hunter, Squadron C's Squadron leader. I'm sure she's a nice person, but it was rather aggravating having my work interrupted by a nosy nelly.

After the last of the gel packs had been cured, I set off towards the officer's mess to fix the rumble in my stomach with a hearty helping of replicated fried tofu and some replicated Darjeeling tea.

I must admit, this ship's replicators don't quite get the mix of Darjeeling to my liking as opposed to those on Myogi, but I suppose that's something I'm just going to have to live with.

After eating, I checked back in at the TIC to make sure all was taken care of before I went off duty for the evening.

I'm going to get some rest now. I'll deal with work again in the morning, which reminds me that I first have to set all the clocks in these quarters to Japan Standard Time first.
