Mission: Behind Closed Doors
Location: Observation Lounge

After everyone had left the briefing room, leaving only Taiga, John and Mimi behind the private meeting that John had wanted began.
"You said you needed to speak with us about something?" Taiga asked simply, placing her head between her hands whilst resting on the table.

"Yes Ma'am," John started with a slight smile. "I approached our newest brood of ship. They needed more space, and I gave them my quarters. Now the only way to properly expand the quarters would be to go up and down, I cant go left and right at all on either side."

"You're talking about Lieutenant Walker, correct?" Taiga asked. She knew that he had brought his whole family along for the ride, and even though the Tokyo was a warship and could be dangerous he had brought them anyways. She valued that as humans did believe that having their families closer to them enhanced their strength and work ethic.

"Yes Ma'am. That's right, the Walker family. Now before I did what I know I need to do, I had to make sure both you and Operations was alright with this. I've already scouted out the rooms, and they are just living quarters that weren't even furnished before this ship left port."

Taiga knew where he was talking about and nodded. "I do believe that there is no essential systems running through the decks in that area of the ship, with a little work I don't see why a few changes can't be made" she explained.

"It would still be a pretty big job." Mimi finally said

"It's easier than you think to install a set of stairs and the like. Adding a turbo would be irresponsible seeing as how they have the main one just down the hall from both of the rooms I would be connecting. Just let me know what way to go, up or down."

"You two are the Engineer and Operations Chiefs on this ship" Taiga said simply. "Do what you need to"

"Understood Commander, we'll do our best." Mimi had never done anything even close to what John had in mind.

"Good" Taiga said. "Is there anything else you two need?" she asked. "This is going to be a difficult mission and we will need every trick you have up your sleeves"

"Just your Okay to do what needs to be done." James looked at Mimi. "Are you ready to get some of the dirty work done?"

Always interested in learning new things Mimi nodded. "Of course."

John nodded, setting out. "Alright, it shouldn't take but a couple days for the work to be done. We'll keep you informed Captain."

Taiga nodded. "Ok then. Well crack on guys" she said as she left them to discuss the finer details. She headed towards the bridge, there was plenty to be done.
