Mission: Behind Closed Doors
The Borg had started to change the environmental controls of the Tokyo. The entire ship's air was becoming more humid and warm to match the environment in a Borg Cube. Taiga had ditched her Grey and Black tunic long ago. Several of the security officers she had with her had done the same. However Taiga had tied up her red undershirt to keep herself cool.
She stopped and held up a hand. The sound of electronics at work just around the corner. Then she saw it, a shadow of a Borg Drone, followed by a red detection laser. She crouched down, her rifle in her hand.
"When it comes around. Aim for its head" she ordered. "No time to get your aim wrong" she explained. "If its a Tokyo crew member you knew, then think of it as doing them a favor"
Moments later, the drone came around the corner, spotting the group. The drone hesitated for only a moment as it made a quick assessment. As it saw Taiga, it relayed that image to the rest of the collective, before receiving orders whispered from Daxer. "Let her pass..." With that, the drone simply turned, and continued on it's way.
Taiga raised an eyebrow at the drones letting them through. "They must be formulating a trap for us" She said as she tightened her grip on her rifle. "Suggestions?" she asked.
"I recommend that we continue on our way." Tu'Val replied simply. "However, we should proceed with extreme caution, assume that they are setting a trap."
Taiga thought about it for a moment. She nodded as she led the way slowly. A Borg Drone walked out of an alcove straight at them. Taiga froze, however one of the younger security officer's panicked and unleashed a volley of phaser fire at the drone.
"You idiot!" Taiga said as more drones turned on them. "You just made us a threat!" she shouted. "Fall back!"
T'Shenn was running up to the Captain. "Damn, I hope I'm not too late."
As the fight ensued, several Borg drones seemed to converge on the group, but did not seem as aggressive as they would normally be. While they were dealing with the new threat, 6 of 12 sent whispers through the collective. "Bring Aisaka to me. Assimilate the rest...."
As the orders were given, several more drones appeared from the opposite direction, intent on ending the threat, and apprehending Taiga.
T'Shenn ran up with her Lipra in hand. She tapped her comm badge and an EMP pulse shot out at the Borg shorting their circuits. "Sorry I'm late for the party."
"Better late than never" Taiga replied as more Borg began to activate from the wall consoles and come towards them. Taiga raised her rifle and began to shoot, the bullets easily blasting holes into the drones. A drone got close to her and put a hand on her shoulder. Taiga pulled out a knife and quickly slashed the drone's hand clean off.
She then ploughed the knife deep into the Drone's face causing it to fall backwards onto the deck. Several more drones came towards them. More and more came towards them, their red laser scopes picking out Taiga and her team.
"Fall back" Taiga called as a never ending swarm of drones came towards them.
The Borg began to overwhelm them easily. Taiga watched as most of her team had nano-probes injected into them. However they seemed to be leaving her alone.
"This is bad" Taiga said as she took a step back, right as a Borg Drone grabbed her around the stomach to literally pick her up.
However the Drones head exploded. Taiga fell to the deck and turned to look up into the eyes of Captain Kaede Kayano.
"Where did you come from?" she asked.
"The Yamato is here to help. We're already helping whats left of your security teams to re-take the ship" Kaede explained. She held out a hand to Taiga to help her up.
"So. Shall we clear these Borg and get your ship back?" Kaede asked as she looked down the scope of her rifle.
"Yeah. I need to get to Engineering" Taiga explained.
"Then lets go" Kaede said as she beckoned her security officers to come closer and form a protective cirlce.

OOC: Going to have something go wrong and get some action going. Mainly because I want something to happen. Have Jen try and take Taiga by force, should turn out interesting.
