Thomas.sat in his office going over some papers. With shore leave cancelled.and this mission underway he now had some stuff to work out. Namely reviewing the reports from their last encounter with the elachi. But first, One of the things now he wanted.to address was the Lts communication. He had.made some improvements last time there was shoreleave but obviously not all.

Summoned as she had been, Nezuko entered the XO’s office and, once she was certain he knew she was there, stood at attention. She was curious as to what this was about.

{Lt, please come in, and sit down.} he replied communicating both as he always did. {I have been meaning to talk with you about the incident regarding your breathing apparatus's, and communication devices.}

Nezuko took the offered seat and signed back. {The breathing apparatus issue was scary, but now that we're free from the nebula it appears to be working fine. I've been looking into further battery longevity options. What are your thoughts on the matter?}

{Nebula aside, what happens once can happen again. I would like to look into the battery source... the field didn't drain any bio electric packs... as we all carry our own electric field in our bodies.}

That was an interesting idea, and Nezuko perked as she considered it. {I’ve read about ex-vivo bio-electric power generation but everything that currently exists is too large. Do you think we can miniaturize it?”

{I would like science and medical to look into it.} He replied, {With your permission.}

Nezuko nodded. {And I will assist. I know my system better than anyone aboard.}

{Obviously} He smiled {Lets get to science and medical shall we.}

The Amphea Ops Chief nodded and followed along.
