Mission: Andromeda
Location: Unknown

Previously on Star Trek Tokyo:

"Our intentions?!" Taiga snapped as her courage flowed back through her veins. "Our intentions are to get the hell home! Get out of this place and never have to deal with you again!" She told the Iconian angrily. "I don't care what or who you are! Or even how powerful you are! We will resist! We are not your puppets! And we will not do what you want us to in order to fulfil your stupidly sized ego!"

M'Tara simply floated there. "You would say such things to a God? You insult us even though your pathetic and weak! You dare to challenge us?"

"Yes I dare! As long as I'm alive I'll continue to resis..."

Taiga suddenly stopped. Instead of finishing her sentence she suddenly became silent and still. Her legs gave way and as if in slow motion she fell, her hair trailing behind her. There was a thud as she hit the floor, her eyes open but lifeless; the fire in them extinguished as one would snuff out a candle. She laid there, staring into the abyss, her chest still and silent, the colour beginning to fade from her skin.

Taiga Aisaka was dead.

And now the continuation...

"You call yourselves gods yet cannot take a few verbal jabs... if you want to believe yourselves as god, grow a god damn back bone." Thomas replied as he ckeched her vitals. "Bring her back, and I will make sure that you deal with myself from now on, if not. Well... lets just say I can make things run smoother if I am here. Willing."

M'Tara approached slowly, she waved a hand throwing Thomas away from Taiga. It was as if she didn't want Thomas anywhere close to her. She then seemingly crouched down and rolled Taiga over onto her back. "You wish to save this Human? Even though she is erratic, disobedient, aggressive... defective?" M'Tata asked. "Or is it because of this?"

Gently M'Tara placed one of her large hands on Taiga's belly. The fabric around Taiga's midriff dissolved and her skin turned transparent as if her expanded stomach was made of crystal clear glass. Inside the tiny unborn baby twitched, moved and thrashed as it started to suffocate from lack of oxygen.

"The Human female is more trouble than its worth. The offspring will inherit these traits." M'Tara stated. "Defective things should be discarded."

"We all carry defective traits." Thomas replied. "She has taken lives, But she has saved countless others. No Captain wishes to destroy, its not our nature. Our nature is to save. I have my own little one, on the Tokyo... who I wish to see grow, to teach. There are tremendous things in the galaxy... universe that can cause us great joy, but also great pain."

"Pain!" M'Tara bellowed as she removed her hand from Taiga's stomach. "You know NOTHING about Pain Human!" She continued. "I have lived over four hundred thousand of your Earth years! I have encountered pain and suffering worse than your pitiful brains can comprehend! You know nothing compared to us! You have no right to preach!" She floated a little higher as she spoke, clearing cleanly over Taiga's body as she approached Thomas slowly arm outstretched. "Your kind do not have the capability to understand our pain! You have not evolved enough!"

She stopped. "You run on emotional impulses, on biological urges, you kill and destroy. You kill your own kind for differences in belief, for differences in territory and for the need to accumulate your planet's natural resources. Compared to us you are no higher than an untamed wild animal. Come back in a few hundred thousand years and then perhaps you may have started to understand!" M'Tara continued.

She seemed to calm, her aggressive and imposing stance turning back to normal. "The Female said that we are extinguishing your vessels crew. You will explain and have her provide information, otherwise she and the offspring within her will perish, as will your entire world!"

"Didn't I mention that we are young. as a species, you are 400,000 years old, for most of the milky way, that is older than most species. The organians being a non corporeal species being one of the few which you may know." he paused. "What every pain you have endured, I will never know. But the information you want will not be available to you unless you bring her back. I locked it out of the system, and any attempt to access it will initiate the self destruct of the Tokyo itself. Stop the attack on the Tokyo, let me back on the ship, and you can accompany me onboard the ship and I will retrieve information you require."

"You speak of an attack which is not happening!" M'Tara responded with frustration. "I told T'Ket to infiltrate and observe! She will not have defied me!"

"Verify it with her. They captured the ship, started vaporizing everyone in sight." Thomas replied, "You know how T'Ket was adamant about killing us."

M'Tara stopped for a moment as if staring off blankly into space. Finally she turned around. "I have restored the female Humans existence. She will wake shortly. You shall keep her... tamed until we have determined how to proceed." M'Tara said simply. Then in a haze of smoke she and the Herald disappeared leaving Thomas and Tauga alone.

Walking over, "Captain." He knelt down. "Captain you alright? Wait don't answer that."

Taiga felt awful, her head throbbed and she felt like she'd been hit by a train.

"I need you to do me a favor. Stand down, shut up and behave." Thomas replied seriously. "No offense, but your mouth just got you killed. It doesn't feel good trust me. I'm getting over being killed as well. But thats another day."

She held her head, clearly a sign of a bad headache. "What... happened? Wait, you want me to be quiet? What do you mean 'being killed'?" She asked.

"She killed you for bad mouthing her. Apparently Iconians don't have very much of a back bone." He looked over, "I'm taking control of the situation here. You do as I say when I say it nothing more. Sorry... but I have been dealing with these people... slightly longer than what I wish... I have been trying to figure out what the cause of this is for. But this is an all out preparation for invasion of the Milky way."

"They... killed me..." her eyes opened wide in sudden shock. Instantly her hands went down to her rounded belly. "My baby!" She exclaimed. "Don't tell me they killed them too?" She asked, desperation in her voice. The whole 'Milky Way Invasion' going completely in one ear and out the other.

"You not the baby... wait them? Twins?"

"No not twins..." Taiga stated. "Just the one, but I don't know if it's a boy or girl yet. So I referred to him/her as 'them'... wait a moment." She paused a moment. "If they killed me, why am I... But I'm alive? Either that or the afterlife really sucks. I don't want to be stuck here pregnant with you forever... no offense..."

"Don't worry I will grow on you." He smirked. "Apparently a wave and they bring people back to life, or killed..." He paused. "I was right about one thing. The other defied orders, the attack was not supposed to happen. There is a power struggle. When I sent the message, they were supposed to beam on, and gather information, If you attacked that would give the needed evidence that we were violent. T'Ket the soldier, thought it best they kill all of us when I was first introduced, a matriarchical society it seems. Run by women. Hence all the hot headedness I guess... Hopefully when she realizes whats going on the information i offered still stands. It is all they asked for since they brought me here. I offered it in good faith..."

Taiga blinked a few times as she assimilated the information. "We got that message. Bit it only lasted a few seconds before a strange ship appeared and strange aliens... which you call 'constructs' started appearing on board." Taiga explained. "And this T'Ket, that must have been her who took me. They singled me out on the bridge."

She shifted in position to sit more comfortably. "It seems you've been busy. How did you get here? We believed that you were blown up when the Elachi Nursery self destruct went off."

"Last thing from the nursery, being shot by a Romulan. Intel about Romulans working with Elachi were bang on... then I woke up here." He paused, "Their intent on taking the milky way galaxy seems to be based on fear. It also seems like they didn't leave the Milky way voluntarily. They deem the Borg a threat... which is odd considering we beat them... countless times."

"We haven't fully beaten The Borg. We've taken down the odd cube and Sphere here and there, yes Admiral Janeway did a lot of damage. But they are still a huge threat to anyone," Taiga said. "We all know if The Borg threw every cube at us we wouldn't stand a chance." She sighed.

"What else have you found out? Anything that could be useful?"

"Those spears aren't spears. They pack a punch." He replied as he remembered the one he took to the chest. "There seems to be some sort of interest in the transphassic torpedoes... and the chronotons they use. Not interest as they are wanting it but nervous about it."

"That could be useful." Taiga stated. She held up an index finger. "Keep that in mind. We might be able to use that to our advantage, although the Tokyo doesn't have transphas..." she was cut off by a long loud rumble from her stomach. She looked down her face becoming red once again. "I don't suppose this place has a mess hall?" She joked.

"Hey Jeff... can your VIPs get some nourishment please. Proper stuff not the slime... Two double stacked burgers fries and a shake." Thomas called out.

"Jeff?" Taiga asked curiously.

"Me and my best mate... should be making an experience anytime now."

Taiga gave him a confused look just before 'Jeff' appeared. "You require sustenance?" The Herald enquired. "Does the female require it too?"

"She does... if you don't mind. Shes also eating for two. Also If you don't mind... I require clothing, and she needs proper fitting clothing. Starfleet uniforms would be preferred. We both take Command Red... Or you could just promote me to Admiral get all this Captain, and Commodore out of the way. " He turned to Taiga. "He wouldn't tell me his name so I named him Jeff."

I'm an instant the food that Thomas 'ordered' appeared in front of them. It also seemed that Taiga had been given an extra serving of fries. After the food appeared 'Jeff' disappeared in a haze of black smoke as usual.

A few seconds later their uniforms appeared. Taiga's was neatly folded and recently pressed, clearly the work and care of Ryuuji and not Taiga. The other was still on a hangar fresh from a closet. It was obvious that these uniforms had been taken directly from the Tokyo itself.

Taiga looked at Thomas, a huge smirk on her face. "So, you're telling me that even with all the names in the galaxy, the best you could come up with was 'Jeff'?" She asked still continuing to smirk at her first officer. "Please tell me that Talia is in charge of naming your child..."

"Oh you havent met scarecrow or tinman yet have you." He replied taking a bite. "Just you wait."

"I can hardly wait..." Taiga replied sarcastically as she pulled the tray of food towards her with a roll of her eyes.
