Mission:
Behind Closed Doors
Location: random corridor deck 12
Timeline: the day after Mimi comes onboard
Mimi was wandering through deck 12 poking her head into the different area's like the machine shop, she'd not had a chance to explore much of this section of the ship yet.
K'Eltora was just leaving her room with her daughter getting ready to head to a training session in the Holodeck. Karlssa smiled holding her staff blaster in her hand ready to attack holographic foes. Karlassa was in training clothes while K'Eltora was in her armor.
Not really paying attention to where she was walking Mimi rounded a corner and bumped into a tall woman, she started to apologise as she looked up but then she saw who the woman was, a Klingon in full battle dress. Mimi hissed loudly and pushed the klingon backwards to create some space before dropping herself low into a defensive posture with her tail tucked in tight near her leg and her claws extended ready to protect herself.
K'Eltora growled. "Are you preparing for combat? Here?"
Karlassa, the little Bajoran girl, also got into a stance ready to fight. "You won't hurt my mom."
Mimi hissed again "You killed an entire colony of my people Klingon."
K'Eltora looked at her funny. "Which one and what was the reasoning?"
Karlassa waited. She knew there was a time to fight and a time to listen.
"There was no reason, you just came down and killed everyone." Somehow Mimi was keeping her restraint and hadn't attacked K'Eltora straight away.
K'Eltora looked at her. "Not all Klingons are the same. What was the name of your world?"
"We called it Kemi, there were over 200 of my species there and you killed everyone you could find."
K'Eltora looked at her. "Kemi, I know that world."
Mimi hissed again, it was clear this klingon knew something about what had happened. "Choose your next words carefully Klingon." She snarled.
K'Eltora said, "One ship of the House I serve performed that heinous act. The Captain claimed he was searching for a fugitive and eliminated all those that aided the fugitive. My ship was sent to investigate. We found no such evidence."
"There were no fugitives there."
K'Eltora nodded. "You are correct. Starfleet had contacted us about the attack which is why my ship was sent to investigate. What we discovered chilled me to the bone. I was filled with a need for vengeance. The Captain who was in charge of the massacre tried to explain his actions. I snuck behind him and stabbed him in the back giving him a dishonorable death. It was one he deserved. Many Klingons in the House I serve did their best to atone for what happened to your people. I didn't know if anyone of your people was still alive. We have done what we could help your people attain a place in Kahless's hall in Sto-vo-kor. I am sorry for what happened to you. But know the ones who killed your people have suffered the worst tortures and pains any Klingon could. They paid for their crimes."
Mimi slowly retracted her claws and rose from her defensive posture.
K'Eltora said, "What happened to your people was a dishonorable act. Is there something I can do restore honor to my house for what was done to you?"
"I don't know, I never thought I'd meet a good Klingon." Mimi's only previous experience with klingons had been nothing but bad.
K'Eltora sighed. "Probably many of my kin didn't know who you were. That is, if you met them after the attack. If it was before, then you have been wronged by fools and dishonorable Ha'DIbaHs."
Mimi took a deep breath. "I want to apologise for how I reacted. I swore I would kill every klingon I met and could get close enough to."
K'Eltora nodded. "Understandable. But remember, not every Klingon is the same."
Karlassa looked at K'Eltora and asked, "Does this mean we can go train in the holodeck SoS?"
K'Eltora smiled. "My little one. How I love her." She looked up from her daughter to Mimi. "Again, I am sorry about your people. The ones who did it were dealt with. If there is any other way I can restore honor let me know. You had no reason to apologize. If I were in your shoes, I would have done the same."
Even though K'Eltora said she had no reason to apologize Mimi apologized again and quickly scurried off down the corridor heading for one of the ships gymnasiums, after working herself up to fight she needed to find a way to release it.
K'Eltora smiled and walked off. "I think this will be an unusual partnership."
