Mission: The Elachi Return

Captains Log Starship Tokyo.

Its been just over a week since our incident with the USS Cassandra in the Cardassian Demilitarized zone. Although the data from that ship was sent to Starfleet Intelligence, I have examined it myself and I find it disturbing what the Cassandra's mission was. I thought that we would have more faith and trust in our neighbours, but instead we decide to send in lightly armed science vessels fitted with speciality equipment to spy on them. No wonder they're suspicious.

Regardless, we reached Starbase Twenty Six relatively quickly. A few minor repairs and crew rotations have seen us back on our way. As for now the Tokyo has been sent to the other side of The Federation. Once again we suspect that tensions are rising again with The Romulan Star Empire and we are being assigned border duty along the Neutral Zone.

However, our first stop is an Asteroid Field. I have had several requests from our fighter squadron leaders for training exercises. I also believe that our new Air Boss has something to prove to the pilots, how true this is I don't know. But I think I can warrant this.

We'll be reaching the Asteroid Field in a few days after we swing by outpost sixty three to drop off some supplies. This should be a nice easy time and should allow us to break in some of our new crew and give the fighter pilots some well needed training.
