New URL & Mission Update

To all crew!

Please be aware that we have had a slight server change. Therefore the Tokyo will now be available at: http://tokyo.sim-station.net

The old site will no longer be used, so please update your bookmarks!

Also, I wanted to take a moment to say a huge thankyou to you all for the amazing couple of months that we have had! I am happy to see you all having fun and moving the story along.

As for the next stage of the mission we will be doing a series of battle drills. Therefore different departments will be working with each other to ensure that the ship is ready for anything that the Romulans and Elachi may throw at us.

Here is a little breakdown of what you might want to do for your drills.

Security, Marines and Intelligence/SWORD can run hostile boarding drills, taking it in turns to simulate boarding scenarios and ensuring protection of vital areas of the ship such as The Bridge, Engineering, Sickbay and the Ambassadors location.

Engineering and Operations can run drills in making essential repairs under tactical circumstances. The ship is bound to receive a beating, so being able to simulate battle damage and repairs would be a good idea.

Medical and Science can also team up with the other departments to simulate wounded flooding into sickbay. I'll leave this upto you guys to decide.

Starfighters and Flight Control can utilise the holodecks and training simulators to practise flight patterns, attack patterns and working together in a combat situation. You may also want to team up with Security/Tactical to co-ordinate ship and weapon deployments etc.

Those are just a few ideas I've come up with. But by all means put your own spin on them or come up with something new. We have six in character days before we reach the Neutral Zone, so thats plenty of time to get the ship and crew ready for what we presume will be an upcoming battle. I look forward to what you guys come up with and also what character development comes from this. If anyone needs any help or needs Taiga to help in the drills, send me a message and I'll be happy to help. Afterall this crew will need to come together to face the Tal Shiar and Elachi.
