Caught in the Cracks. Mission Outline

To all crew of the USS Tokyo. Now that we are back to active status and all the crew, new and exisiting are back on board its time to let you all know what we'll be doing in the next mission.

Part 1
The USS Tokyo will be dispatched to once again patrol along the Romulan Neutral Zone. We will be doing a standard patrol as usual. Once we arrive at the edge of the Neutral Zone we will launch our Starfighters to do recon missions along the border much like old carriers used to do in the Pacific Ocean. We will also be doing several tests on the ships upgrades, including the Tokyo's new engines. Also anyone who wants to do a few character development subplots can be done here. We shouldn't take too long on Part 1.


Part 2
Somewhere along the Neutral Zone border the Starfighters will find a strange anomoly forming. Fearing that the Romulans are once again 'upto something' we will move to investigate. The anomoly will seem to be some sort of fold in subspace time, and realities. We will get a little too close and get pulled into the anomoly.

Meanwhile in the Mirror Universe, the ISS Tokyo will have done the same. Both ships will then become merged in the same space time. This means that the mirror universe crew will appear on the Tokyo alongside ourselves. Could everyone please come up with a Mirror Universe counterpart of their characters.

Once the Mirror Universe counterparts appear, there will be immediate confusion and lots of fighting. We will lose control of the ship as we all start fighting with ourselves (quite literally). Therefore we will have to regroup and then find a way to take back parts of the ship. Most likely we will have to fall back to either Engineering or Starfighter Operations as they both have command consoles and abilities. We will lose the Main Bridge to the Terran Empire.


Part 3
After finally getting most of the fighting out of the way and finding our own feet. Elements of the ISS Tokyo will start to come through as if the two ships were merging. Logos will appear, rooms begin to change etc. Should have a lot of fun with science blabble when this begins to happen. The Tokyo crew then need to somehow stop allt he fighting and pursuade the crew from the ISS Tokyo to work together.

We can then formulate a plan to send the Mirror Universe Tokyo back to their universe whilst still keeping ours in the prime universe. We can either go two directions here. The crew of the ISS Tokyo can either co-operate with us and help us out, which would be easier for us. Or, if they refuse and want to take both ships back to their universe we will have to do something to force them to surrender. (Which is probably the more fun option)

Part 4
Once we somehow get both ships back to their correct universe, we will use our torpedo's and fighters weapons to close the anomoly. With the ISS Tokyo doing the same on the other side. Then continue onto the next mission.

Conclusion

Hopefully this should turn out really good. Of course this is just a brief outling of what I would like to see. Things can change as you write along. I let you all as writers and the crew develop the story. This is just a possible outcome. But with a lot of good writing we should be able to formulate a fantastic story.
