Mission:
Andromeda
Location: Unknown
There wasn't anything to do in their 'room'. Yes there was a large circular window where the vast expanse of the Dyson Sphere could be viewed, but apart from that there was nothing. No form of entertainment, nothing to but sheer silence and boredom.
Hours felt like days as Taiga sat against the wall, ger hand occasionally rubbing her rounded bump. But it wasn't long until her head began to nod with fatigue and eventually she was snoozing peacefully.
Taiga clutched her phaser tightly, sheltering next to Ensign Ishigami be the helm. The sound of weapons fire echoed around the bridge and the screams of people, her people, her crew being killed rang in her ears. She was lifted up, as if by some sort of tractor beam. Then with a poof she saw nothing but darkness.
Her eyes fluttered open as she struggled to move. Her wrists and ankles bound, strapped to a cold metal table. Strange surgical equipment hovered above her, supported by jointed arms and tubes.
A strange alien approached, dressed in long flowing like robes abd holding a staff. It's six slit like red eyes looked down at her naked body before disappearing into the gloom beyond. That's when three other being emerged, made of what seemed like pure plasma energy.
"Who..." she tried to find her voice but it only echoed in her mind. She couldn't speak or move. However she could hear the aliens as they communicated.
"Human Female. Age. Thirty Four Earth Years. Pregnant with Human offspring." A strange voice announced. "Vitals normal. Slight agitation..."
'Slight?!' Taiga thought.
Her eyes opened wide and her heart began to quicken as a strange cone shaped drill began to spin rapidly on one of the arms. Slowly it descended towards her stomach. "Inserting probe. Offspring DNA extraction process starting." The voice said.
Taiga tried to struggle, the cone drill coming closer and closer to her stomach. Then a sheering pain spread through her body as it began to cut through her skin, shredding open her navel and digging into her baby bump. She let out a piercing scream.
Taiga jolted awake as she let out a scream. Sweat was running down her face and she breathed heavily. She was back in the room with Thomas, the drill had gone, she had no wounds. 'Was it just a dream?' She thought as she panted. 'Or did that happen?'
"Nightmares I take it." Thomas replied as he looked over. "You get used to it. Every few hours, we sleep. Its like they fill the air with a sedative, and theres no way to fight it. Then we wake up screaming. For me, its always being presented with three hearts. Those I have closest in my life."
"I'm not really sure. It felt so real..." Taiga explained. "Three hearts?" She asked.
"My child, Talia, and we are kind of in a throuple. Nezuko is part of us now."
"Oh yeah. I'd heard rumours about that..." Taiga replied with a mischievous smirk. "So, how did that come about huh? Chief Counsellor right off the bay, now my Chief of Operations..."
"Well... long story... not something we planned but with us spending so much time together, it sorta just happened."
Taiga nodded. "Well, once we're back just keep it professional. OK Mister Charles Tucker..." she mocked him a little. "If we ever get back."
"Hey, have I not always been professional. You cam always ask Jeff over there about my proff.... never mind... when it comes to onboard ship duties, everything is and always was professional." He paused as he turned. "So how are my two girls doing." He gave a smirk.
"Well, with me being here. I imagine that Talia had stepped up to command the ship. She'll be the next ranking officer on board." Taiga explained. "Nezuko is off ship on an away team I put together to investigate this sphere."
"Well... I have..." He paused, "all the faith in her." He replied as he leaned back. "We need a way home."
"Got any ideas?" Taiga asked with a sigh. "Honestly, I'm fresh out and exhausted."
"We can ask politely. And offer them the information they are seeking. If we give them the information that they request, which I had already offered, maybe they will allow us to at least go over to the tokyo... its not like they cant obliterate us at a moments notice if they don't like what they see."
"What use do they have for sending us back to the Tokyo?" Taiga asked. "Wait, did I tell you where we even are?"
"Well, we give them the information they want. Willingly, full disclosure. If we cooperate... they may decide that keeping us here, serves no purpose."
Taiga nodded. "So we have to come up with a reason for them to keep us here." She looked around the room, eventually rising to her feet and crossing over to the window. "Just so you know. I believe that we're in the same Dyson Sphere that the Tokyo was pulled into. We weren't one hundred per cent sure, but it seemed to be located in the Andromeda Galaxy."
Slowly she turned away from the window. "Even if we get out of here, if we don't find a way to travel home. We'll be stuck in this galaxy. We would run out of fuel a very long time before we even made any progress." She paused again. "If I'm doing my maths right it would take over ten thousand years to travel from here back to our Galaxy. Even with Warp Drive, we have yet to scratch the surface with space exploration and travel."
Taiga let out a sigh. "You know, maybe the Iconians had a point. We are children compared to them. They've been around much longer, and have the technology and ability to build all this. We must look nothing like ants compared to them."
"Perhaps so. But what I have learnt, is we never give up. We don't know whats in store. Yes we may be children, misbehaving brats, but we are growing hope they see that." He was hoping they were still listening. "We just need an audience. And a real good reason for them to allow us back to the ship."
"I doubt they'll let us back on our ship." Taiga said. "They consider us dangerous. From the sounds of it, they're only keeping us here until they can decide what to do with us."
"M'Tara," He called out, knowing they were probably still listening in. "I request an audience. With your council. Or you alone."
There came no response.
"You think she's actually listening?" Taiga asked. "Wouldn't an Iconian have better stuff to do?"
"They are always listening." Thomas replied as he looked around. "Incase we give something up. "M'Tara, we are useless for you here, you say you want information from us. You have the Tokyo right out there. Let us return to the Tokyo, and any and all information we have are yours. At least then we can be of some help to you, rather than just sitting in the corner."
'Jeff' appeared in the middle of the room. "My master is currently engaged." The Herald said simply. "Remain quiet and here. My master will deal with you after." With that he 'poofed' away in a haze of smoke.
"If you want any information at all, if that is awhat you really want... it is necessary that we go over to the ship. I initiated a system wide computer virus, that will fry the computer, and leave the Tokyo nothing more than a paperweight. No computer, no engines. Nothing." He replied as he turned to the Captain. "That thing I told you from when we were on the planet, I didn't really trust the survivors of the other ship. I started it, it will seem to the crew that it is a self destruct, but its just going to completely disable the ship, we won't get anywhere."
"You know it's gone right..." Taiga told him. "I hope to go that I'd we fo get back to the Tokyo, you're able to reverse that virus." She stated. She returned to the bed and slowly laid down. "I'm going to try and get some sleep, you should try too. I think we're going to end up needing it..."
"Perhaps you are right." Thomas replied as he just stared at the wall.
