Mission: Andromeda
Location: Iconian Council Chamber - Andromeda Dyson Sphere

Puffs of black smoke disippated as the Iconians all began to appear one by one in the large circular council chamber. In the middle of them floated M'Tara. Then in the center of the room T'Ket 'poofed' in.

"T'Ket. I told you to only infiltrate the Human Vessel. Not to start clensing it." M'Tara said simply. "Explain your actions sister."

T'ket remained floating in the center of the room. "They were a threat to us. Just like before. These 'Humans' and their 'Federation' have established large scale alliances in order to destroy their enemies." T'Ket explained simply. "I do not believe that they are here peacefully."

"Why are they here?" M'Tara asked. "How did they arrive?"

"Through one of our gateways. One from our Elachi Servants." T'Ket told her. "The Elachi are present throughout the mycelial network."

M'Tara floated a few feet forward. "The Elachi are under your control T'Ket." she said simply. She raised a hand to point to her fellow Iconian sister. "Explain how they are able to use the Elachi to get here! Explain now."

T'Ket didn't seem to hesitate or flinch. She did however look away for a brief moment before answering. "I have been collecting information on the species of the Milky Way Galaxy for some time now." T'Ket explained. She waved a hand and a image of the Milky Way appeared over her head.

"Many of the species are just as we suspected. Still violent, still aggressive. They are selfish and far beneath our current power." T'Ket explained. The map of the Milky Way was occupied by several colours which showed territories of different races and governments. "However they seem to band together to face a common enemy."

M'Tara studied the map of the galaxy for a few seconds. "How long have you been conducting this research?"

"Nearly a thousand years. A short project, but I wanted to plan our return to our galaxy and our homeland." T'Ket said.

"We can never return to Iconia. It is far lost." M'Tara approached again. "I understand the desire to return home is strong T'Ket. But Iconia was destroyed, it is nothing but a barren wasteland. We cannot return. Also, the species as you say are dangerous."

"Speaking of species..." T'Ket said. "Why do you hold two Humans? One of them is even in the process of reproducing! We do not want those filthy things in our prescence."

"For my own research." M'Tara said. "For I believe that these Humans may not be as hostile or aggressive as you believe."

The room was filled with murmours and chatter for a brief moment. Finally another Iconian, this one had yellow energy. "Sister, are you proposing that these Humans whom we have studied and watched since their sentience are on a level similar to ours?"

"No. But I do not believe they are a threat to us." M'Tara stated. "From the specimens I have collected, they seem focused more on their own survival and to escape our realm alive. They do not seem to be focused on mutualm destruction."

"M'Tara, what you are saying goes against the thousand years of data that T'Ket has collected. We have watched them kill each other over the petty resources of their planet, or for thinking differently. They are savage, and truly aggressive." The other Iconian said. "I stand with T'Ket about the Humans."

"You have the right to choose," M'Tara stated. "I may chair this council, but I do not make all the decisions." she then turned to face the other Iconians. "Then lets discuss, what shall we do with the Humans?"

Another Iconian floated forward. "Fellow Sisters. I have not seen enough of these Humans to judge appropriately." she then turned to T'Ket. "Tell us T'Ket, is it true that you ordered the Elachi to discover a way to steralize the Humans?"

T'ket didn't answer straight away. "I can never hide anything from you could I P'Shir. You're intelligence and observations talents are second to none amongst us." T'Ket said. "However the answer is yes. I ordered the Elachi to find a method of steralization for the Humans, also other Milky Way Species... As a precaution..."

"A precaution?" M'Tara asked turning her attention back to T'Ket. "What precaution would that be?"

T'Ket's gaze met M'Tara's. "If they ever stood against us, we could defeat them by simply waiting. If they can no longer reproduce then it would give us the advantage. They have short lives, hardly a blink in our eyes."

"Did you not think this would anger them?" M'Tara asked.

"We are gods!" T'Ket stated. "So what if we anger them. We are the bringers of life and we were the first life forms in the galaxy. They should be grateful! If we choose that they are to die out they should accept it."

M'Tara sighed. "I do not believe it is time for their species to end. I believe they may have potential. But we should still be cautious of them."

"They have already shown that they know how to use our gateways. If we can repair the gateway network in the Milky Way, we can mount an invasion immediately."

"No." M'Tara said. "An invasion is not necessary. We should observe from safety. However there is one other problem." she waved a hand and the galaxy image disappeared only to be replaced by the image of the Starship Tokyo, and by its side an image of the Tokyo's away team.

"It seems our 'guests' are curious as to where they are. They have also become aware of one of our Omega power plants." M'Tara stated. "Suggestions on how to proceed?"

"I stand by my earlier suggestion. We exterminate them all. Take all the data we can from their primitive computer systems and be done with them." T'Ket stated.

P'Shir then spoke. "Our sphere could use some well needed maintenence. The species that once inhabiated the surface long since died off." P'Shir said. "Maybe we could use these Humans to 'repopulate' the surface and restore our sphere." P'Shir suggested.

More chatter and murmours filled the room between the Iconians. M'Tara turned to face P'Shir. "Do you believe they would co-operate with that?"

"Nonsense!" T'Ket exclaimed. "They would find a way to destroy us. Just like they did before! We must take action now, before they find more ways of destroying us. They are already too powerful, granting them access to our sphere would only cause more trouble!"

"Enough T'Ket!" M'Tara'sm voice boomed. "We shall take a recess here. I shall summon you all once we have all considered the options available. For now I shall continue my observations. The Human Vessel and any of its occupants must NOT be touched."

One by one the Iconians began to 'poof' away until only M'Tara and T'Ket stood alone. "You heard me T'Ket. You must leave them alone for now. We decide as a council as it has always been." With that said she also 'poofed' away in a haze of black smoke. T'Ket remained still for a few seconds before also 'poofing' away leaving the circular chamber silent.
