| Personal History | Zack Nakazato Jr. is the second child of Takeshi and Sayuki Nakazato, named in honor of his father's nickname, 'Zack' Unlike his older sister, Zack Jr. Has never physically seen his father, instead relying on old pictures and his mother's stories to know his father. As he grew older, he grew to accept dad as being just 'the man in the pictures' and 'the man mom always talks about' and 'the man the car in the garage belongs to' And that level of acceptance had gotten his mother and older sister worried that eventually Zack Jr. would get to a point where he'd accept that his father wasn't actually a real person or worse that his father was no longer living. So, when his mother found out that his father's work had changed, she made the decision on Zack Jr's behalf to leave the planet and meet up with his father aboard his spaceship so Zack Jr. would at least get a chance to know that there was an actual person behind the pictures and stories, and more specifically, what that actual person was actually like, rather than in somebody else's words. |
