General Overview Kah'Leth is a quiet man as he has found in the Federation most humanoids are intimidated by the larger physique people. He has a sense of humor more along the lines of what human call 'Dry.' He is what could be called a Pacifist; he will avoid violence when unnecessary, and seeks to put down violence before it gets out of hand. He has his traditions he follows of always having a bladed weapon of some sort with him.

From a Doctor point of view he is a skilled serge on; having been taught as a warrior how to best kill he has used that knowledge in how to surgically help others. He has become known for his fine hand and precise surgical methods. His Bedside manner is more to have attractive nurses do the post-op support as Kah'Leth tends to be imposing. He is very aware of his patent's needs both physical and psychologically. He is known to not leave his Operating Room or medical bay until the job is done and even if wounded will strain himself to keep healing others.

As for his real conversion from Klingon Empire to Federation he has taken a more philosophical path of self enlightenment; he followed a year in a Vulcan monastery; as he said, to better control emotional outbursts, anger management. He reads and often quotes Philosophy to make his point when he can. He also tends to stumble along this path with extremely 'trying individuals. Also he found that being a 'Bartender' for Social Gatherings gave him insights as he explained ' It is amazing what people will tell a friendly Bar tender.

One noted prejudiced; through a post traumatic experience he has a detesting of Orion females.
Strengths & Weaknesses His strengths are in the Xeno-biology studies and his surgical skill. He has studied both herbal remedies as well as the more traditional Federation methods. He has a pacifistic vantage point for most interactions.

His weakness lies in his loss of temper with irritating persons, his skill of surgery came from Klingon battle killing methods. Will use more intimidating methods to assure strict adhesion to medical instructions or attendance.

Personal History Kah'Leth was the youngest son; his Eldest Brother died in glorious battle, his middle Brother is commanding a War Bird for the House or Morgue. His sister was lost in the height of the Final Battle of the Dominion War.

Kah'Leth was a fine blade student and his concentration in battle training with his skill of cutting with the minimal cutting blade. It was because of this he was thought to be a great swordsman. But his lack of Battle lust was frown upon and he was then considered more of a dishearten Warrior.

The High Command saw opportunity to be done with him and sent Kah'Leth to the Federation as an Exchange Officer in his 16th year. The young Klingon attended the Academy. Upon his entry exam a Medical Instructor notd the precision with which Kah'Leth used the alien anatomy to a precise kill. Noting that the Klingon also knew the location of the major organs in several holographic representations. "Know thy enemy as Humans say.' is how he explained his knowledge. "I study how to best end a fight and knowing their weakness helps.

The youth was placed in the Medical Training program where he began to excel in his studies and practical applications. The precision with a blade was honed to being a fine instrument and a scalpel replaced a mek'leth in the Klingon's skill with surgery. He aced the Xeno-Biology curriculum; it gave him an edge that landed him in the top 20% of his class. He also used his knowledge of alcohol to be a Bartender at many parties and such, not one cadet or party goer gave the 2 meter tall Bartender any lip when he told them they had 'too much' and did not want him to play bouncer?

His Cadet cruise was met with apprehension; he was the attempted target of razzing. A large Security human challenged Kah'Leth with derogatory statement about the Klingon not being able to hack it as a Warrior in the Empire so he went doctor. Having his Klingon Bracers with folding short blades Kah'Leeth lunged, grabbed the Security human to press him up onto a bulkhead. "With these blades I could have dug into you... the blades on the left one unfolded into 4 shark fin style blades. 'I could have gutted you here and no medical would have saved you', he dropped the man, and showed how Kah'Leth chooses not to prolong a battle and not feeling the need to prove he can be mighty. Short acts will do that for him and he walked away.

With an invitation to Vulcan Kah'leth followed a year's emotional training to 'even out' his emotional levels; what his fellow crew called 'Anger management' with experts. The training work for the most part unless Kah'Leth encounters truly irritating individuals in which press his long temper. But he does tend to walk away before his temper flares; it is when he is cornered or no other resolve that his temper does get the better of him. However it did put the young man on the path of enlightenment.

The USS Karpathia; a science ship with a large medical staff to aid with the biological surveys and such perked Kah'Leth's interest in a young woman , human, named Jessie. She happened to fancy herself a 'Herbalish Wicka; some sort of Earthen witch or magical practitioner. She had a spell upon young Kah'Leth and also his interest in herbal treatments. For three years they spent on the ship he learned more of her and of the remidies. He did find it an interesting field of study. Taking what he had learned Kah'Leth and Jessie 3were on a survey when they noted a plant that resembled Poison Ivy but the toxin levels were much higher. It was when the plant sample was on board that the affects ran through the crew. Working the medical side Kah'Leth experimented with Jesse's theories to eventually come up with a cure. Both received accommodations.

Their budding relationship was going along until Raife the Security Man came onto the scene.

A large humanoid from a heaver gravity planet. He took a liking to Jessie and in his culture the strong survive and get what they earn. Confrontation was unavoidable as Raife made it known he wished to court Jessie while Kah'Leth kept his temper in check. Perhaps too much so as he avoided combat challenges seeing to how he wanted Jesie to know he was not a typical Blood thirsty Klingon. Raife cornered Kah'Leth and openly challenged him. The combat was with blunted weapons; pole arm types, and Raife had strength enough to challenge. The battle went for an hour; Kah'Leth was trying to end the battle but Raife would not have it. Finally after tauntings Kah'Leth took the initive and using his superior anatomy knowledge used pain centers for his strikes and finally downed Raife. Jessie thought Kah'Leth was too brutal after 'wearing out Raife.' She was courted by the Security man.

Raife was quite physical in his training of Security and Kah'Leth saw the increase in the Sick Bay calls above the fleet average and brought it to Raife's attention. Raife took it as an affont and provoked Kah'Leth, this time Ka'Leth did not wait so long, he put the man out in five minutes and two broken ribs and a cheek later. The incident was pushed aside and Kah'Leth felt he would accept a billet as a Chief surgeon on the USS Midway, a combat line Akira Class. The flight crews and Marines kept him busy as the ship patrolled the Boarders of the Orion Space Lanes. What became small skirmishes inflated into small combat sortees and even some boardings of nearing colonies. Kah'Leth was on a mission of mercyafter a pirate attack while the Midway was off chasing the retreating pirates that circled around for a second raid to get the medical supplies. The Executive Officer was wounded and Kah'Leth was ranking Officer. He assigned the ground foces of the Marines to defend the patents as he kept his medical assistance while under fire from orbit. His dedication to duty; even when ground forced attempted to get past the Marines earned him a shoulder wound. He was the last of the Medical team to beam up after the Midway returned, managing to keep his wounds hidden until his team were safe on teh ship. This earned him a McCoy award and a rak jump.

The next Command he saw was on an outpost near the Cardassian boarder, the raids were from Pirtae factions preying upon the less than revitalized Cardassian Military Might. The ships were routinely raiding humanitarian shipments and the Patrol ships of the area could not cope. The Pirates made a push to attack the outpost as it was a supply hub for the patrol vessels. The bombardment came in the Gamma Shift when Kah'Leth was Officer of the deck. He managed to get the defenses up and Marines ready to repel as the Commander came to the Control Deck. Then Kah'Leth went to his medical Bay to attend the incoming wounded. The Bombardment was brutal and it was discovered the Pirate ships were modified Cardassian Vessels of older class. The weapons were more modern than they should have and did wide scale damage.

The executive Officer was critically wounded and the first star ship on the scene beamed him away, the flotilla of ships set off after the Pirates . The relief supplies had been stowed in the cargo hall ways as even the Cargo bay had become a triage for those not critically wounded. No one suspected the return of the Pirates that circled around. The Head Pirate of the Squadron was an Orion Female; said to be smarter than her male counter parts since she had scored a second Payday with the medical supplies. The Orbital actions easily took out the remaining defenses and Pirate raiders swoop down to engage the remaining Marine and security forces. Without further support and to protect the wounded the Commander had to surrender. All the Medical supplies were taken along with the major food stuffs.

Kah'Leth was taken with the Pirates and forced to patch the Pirate wounded. The female has said he was not even worth selling as a Klingon; being he was not a warrior of the Empire and a Healer to boot ha druined his value as a Klingon on the Slave Block. She gave him a sly smile and using her 'Heritage' had seduced him under the guise of 'every condemned man deserves a last night of pleasure before death. After the height of their passion as they were spent She drew a disruptor and shot him.

He woke in a small pod drifting in a direction, the lock was on the planet where the Outpost lay. HIs wounds were not critical as she had only hit of of his vital organs. With the small med kit on the pod he patched himself enough to be survive the less than perfect landing from the dated pod. Staggering out of the wreckage he was patched himself and with his herbal knowledge and the training of the Marine Recon forces assigned to the Outpost, remedies and bare minimum food stuffs were able to keep the remaining Federation Personnel alive and with minimal losses until the returning Fleet forces arrived having lost the Pirates.

Kah 'Leth was the deputy chief Medical Officer of the USS Abraham; a capital Ship of the line. The Commodore himself command the vessel with a Sovereign class, Nebula class Kirov and the Intrepid class USS Indefatigable completed the flotilla. Being the second Doctor of the Abraham gave him the rank of lieutenant after his duty under fore on three duty rotations. The Abraham had the duty of patrolling near the badlands, during the patrol the medical officer of the Intrepid class was wounded in a skirmish from forces hiding in the Badlands. Kah'leth took the chief's place as the Intrepid Class again went in to scout the area; finding a nest of small craft attacked the ship. It was a running battle as the Intrepid dashed out luring the enemy ships into the open. Half the enemy squadron was destroyed. The damage to the Indefatigable was extensive and the wounded were stacking up. During the whole running battle Kah'Leth maintained his surgery and Medical Bay until the battle was over and relief medical staff from the other two ships beam over to help with the wounded. Kah'Leth had taken a side wound from an exploding medical monitor but did not allow himself to be deterred in his practice of medicine. After the relief forces had the ship's complement seen to Kah'Leth collapsed himself.

With having served on hazardous assignment for his career Kah'Leth was taken to the USS Tokyo, his second Akira Class Vessel as the Chief Medical Officer and the rank of Lieutenant Commander in honor of his fine work in the medical field.
