Personal History | Born in Bowerston on Cestus III on 29th November, 2365 to parents Jameson, and Akari Ellis. Eli was a shy boy, growing up surrounded by books and rarely interacting with his peers that didn't end up with young Eli crying his eyes out due to teasing and torment from the other kids. This leads to him being painfully shy at first with new people but opening up as he warms up to others. This is also due (in a small part) to transitioning from Female to Male, the only confident decision he’s made other than pursuing medicine. In his time growing up, he spends most of it reading books, far beyond his years. He finds a particular liking to medical texts, which leads to his interests in Medicine in the fields of General Medicine, and Biomedical Science. He applies himself to his studies, graduating from Bowerston High in 2383 at the age of 16 and immediately being accepted into Starfleet’s Medical Training Program at Starbase One General Hospital. He spent the next 8 years in medical training and internships. He was set to graduate top of his class, however he ends up racked with nerves and fumbles several important questions on the test which drops him to 6th in his class. He spends the next few months in a deep depression before being assigned to Starbase One for his Residency. During his Residency on Starbase One, he works a year with the Voyager EMH in a special program for promising new doctors developing advanced medical procedures. He also expresses an interest in pursuing Biomedical work with Nanotechnology to aid others in transitioning. He writes a paper on Nanomedicine in the aid of TransgenderIndividuals which wins him the Carrington Prize on his 26th Birthday. He ends up drinking a bit too much at the awards and not remembering the night. As of 2397 He has completed his residency hours in hopes of being assigned to a starship. His final Residency evaluations show him to be a very promising doctor with a bright future, if he can work on breaking out of his shell with others. This has not impacted his feelings on his career though. |
