New Mission - Behind Closed Doors & Ship Update

To all crew.

New Mission

Well done on completeting Mission 2, Contraband and Captain! Its been awesome seeing you post and getting the story written out! I am very proud of you all for participating in the mission and its been great fun!

I have moved the Tokyo onto the next mission now. The mission called "Behind Closed Doors" is now our Current Mission. We are picking up directly from where we left off, which means that the Tokyo is still sitting on the Romulan Border. There will be no time jump so any posts that are incompleted can be posted before we set off again, this is to give us a little chance between the actual story missions for character development and subplots.

There will be an incharacter staff briefing starting later today for all senior officers where the mission will be explained, because thats what they always do on Star Trek, tell everyone who needs to know. The next mission will be a good one for anyone who wants to play around with Romulans and the Borg and I'm sure we'll all have fun writing about our encounters with them.

The new mission description is below:


With the Tal Shiar being resposible for the recent smuggling of illegal goods into Federation Space the USS Tokyo is sent on a recon mission into Romulan Space. Starfleet Intelligence has identified a Tal Shiar research facility which long range probes have picked up unusual activity from. The Tokyo is sent to go find out what the Tal Shiar is upto and if it poses a threat, to eliminate it in order to protect the security of the Federation. But what will happen once Borg Signatures are detected coming from inside the research facility?

New Crew!

Also while I'm on the topic I want to welcome two new members of the crew who have joined us recently. Please give a warm welcome to Lieutenant Commander Nicholas Trigman who will be playing our Starfighter Commander of the Titans and Squadron Leader of Squadron A, Mikasa.

Also another warm welcome to Lieutenant Kalmar Okinami Sci.D who has joined as our Chief Intelligence Officer! Be warned, he is a very intelligent squid, so don't eat sushi around him.

Crew Awards

I have decided that it is time to get some crew awards done. I have looked at the Fleet Awards but they don't seem to fit what I want on the Tokyo. So I have made some of our own awards, I have yet to make images but they will be done this weekend with some hope. The crew awards will be uploaded and created this weekend, but I am going to open nominations early.
