Captains Christmas Message, 2020
Posted on Thu Dec 17th, 2020 @ 9:18pm by Captain Taiga Aisaka
To all crew.
2020 has been a very difficult year for most of us, however I am proud of the accomplishments and achievements that have taken place on the Tokyo. Towards the start of the year the Tokyo was a slowed paced sim, and over the last few months we have seen an increase in activity and gained several new crew members.
I understand that with the outbreak of COVID 19, that many of you in real life have had worries or issues. Employment dropping, family and friends becoming sick or the feel of isolation from others as many countries entered lockdown. I want to just take a moment to thank you all for your participation and dedication to the ship as well as thanking the worlds health services for saving so many lives this year.
As captain of the Tokyo I am immensely proud of you all and I hope that we can continue the pace we have been going at into next year. Even if we haven't had posted posts last month, the work behind the scenes and in joint and saved posts is wonderful to see. I hope that the Tokyo can become one of the best ships in the fleet as we progress through these dark times.
Also, December is a wonderful month. Christmas is coming and I want to wish you all a Happy Christmas. For me, Christmas is a time of giving, love and being thankful for what we have. For others it is the celebration of Jesus Christs birthday and has a very big holy meaning. But what ever Christmas means to you, I hope you enjoy it, be close to family and loved ones and be safe into the new year of 2021.
Happy Christmas and best wishes for the new year! Stay safe and look after one another!
